DR. Aekta erry, DC

Dr. Aekta Erry is a licensed chiropractor serving the Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, and D.C. Metro community.  As a chiropractor with  many years of experience, Dr. Erry is committed to promoting the health and well-being of her patients. Dr. Erry is a dedicated runner having run the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington D.C. many times not only does she preach an active and healthy lifestyle but she also practices it.

As a student at Virginia Tech University she had keen interest in physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, majoring with a Bachelors degree in Science of Human Foods, Nutrition, and Exercise. The next logical step in her life was to study in the science of Chiropractic. So far it has been a match made in heaven. 

Dr. Erry earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Southern California University and Health Sciences in 2005 and she has been off to the races ever since. She has taken several continuing education courses including Dry Needling, extremity adjustment and rehab along with many others. In addition, she takes a special interest in prenatal care. She is Webster certified practitioner and a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. 

Dr. Erry uses a "whole person approach".  This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and making whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function.  

DR. Ashley Cooke, DC

We proudly introduce to you our newest team member Dr. Ashley Cooke. Dr. Cooke comes to us from Richmond, VA where she has been practicing for many years. Dr. Cooke is a native of Washington DC and is excited to start serving our northern Virginia patients!! Dr. Cooke has focuses on functional biomechanics, focusing on the relationship between the nervous and musculoskeletal systems as it contributes to the inability or ability to function correctly. Dr. Cooke also specializes in Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation, pre and post Natal Care (Webster technique), as well as Dry Needling. Dr. Cooke received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Frostburg State University. During her time there Dr. Cooke worked with various collegiate and high school athletes from sports like volleyball, soccer, football, and softball. 

Shortly after receiving her undergrad degree Dr. Cooke attended New York Chiropractic College where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Cooke was considered by the faculty to be one of the best students during her time there. Dr. Cooke also has certifications in Whole Food and Nutrition, Dry Needling, and Webster.
